Heavy duty instrumental Insemination unit for the insemination of queen honey bees. This unit offers a high level of adjustment which facilitates comfortable working and accurate alignment. An ideal instrumental insemination unit if you are planning to inseminate many queens throughout the year.

This unit offers you complete adjustment of the queen holder assembly and probe handles. This allows accurate tip alignment with the queen every time. Constructed from stainless steel and with a heavy duty base assembly, this unit is easy to work with for sustained periods. The stainless steel construction means that this unit is easy to clean down and sterilise between use keeping the risk of bacterial contamination to a minimum.

You will require a stereo microscope, we would recommend one with variable zoom from x7 to x45. In addition, you will require a CO2 source to anaesthetise the queen. Either an aquarium CO2 unit or welding CO2 supply with bubble counter will be sufficient.
