Description

Semen for instrumental insemination has traditionally been collected on the same unit that insemination takes places. It is not unusual for drones to defecate during the procedure which can result in increased risk of infection to the queen. This semen collection station means that you can collect semen from drones with no risk of contamination to the main unit. It can be used with either a Harbo style syringe or a standard insemination syringe unit.

Manufactured from stainless steel, this unit is easy to clean and sterilise. Having a separate station for semen collection will reduce contamination risk during collection. It will also increase the hygiene of the insemination procedure.

Syringe is not included.
