Armeria Maritima Morning Star Rose (Sea Thrift)

Armeria maritima, more commonly known as sea thrift, is often found growing in coastal locations.  In gardens they are happiest in rockeries or gravel paths. They form evergreen clumps which are covered with dainty pink flowers in spring. These hardy and easy to grow flowers are enjoyed by a range of pollinators, including solitary bees.

Eventual Height: 10-15cm (4-6″)

Position: Sun or partial shade,  well drained soil
